Hello,

We are using Dynamics 365 marketing dynamic segments (contacts) as part of a customer journey Email campaign. As part of customer journey one task is to send an marketing email to all employees, as part of this we would like to sync office 365 users (employees) as contacts into Dynamics 365 marketing segment, is there any way to sync employees (as employees gets added and removed from AD automatically). At present its a manual task to sync contacts

Appreciate your time and thanks for your help

Regards,

Shaik

    Hi Shaik,

You can add one flag field in the contact entity, which is used to identify the contact is synced from AD users.

Then you can create one dynamic segment in the marketing, using the flag field as condition to filter contacts.

    Hi Shaik,

Maybe you can try to use power automate to create one flow to achieve it automatically.

    Example:

    pastedimage1667295192987v1.png

--There is one trigger-- 'When a group member is added or removed' from the Office 365 Groups connector:

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/office365groups/#when-a-group-member-is-added-or-removed

Populate the objectid of the group.

    pastedimage1667295475529v4.png

--’Get user profile (V2)' action, retrieves the profile of a specific user you have added.

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/office365users/#get-user-profile-(v2)

    pastedimage1667295281447v2.png

--'Add a row' Action, use information from last step to populate columns you want.

    pastedimage1667295340564v3.png

So you can create one Azure AD Group and add users you need to the group, then the flow will be triggered automatically.
