Dear Community,
We are going to start using the Marketing App soon for sending mass emails to our Contacts.
Often we will need to refer to documents stored in SharePoint within the emails.
Our plan is to send anonymous links to the documents in SharePoint.
There is however, a subset of users who must always receive pdf attachments instead of links to SharePoint.
Is it possible to attach a pdf to an email marketing campaign?
Thank you!
Is this issue still open, or the feature regarding attaching of files to the mail have been implemented and can be used.
This is definitely needed and I would vote for it.
Embedding images into the email content doesn't do it for me. Any other workarounds? For Microsoft to remove this functionality without a replacement is a real issue.
Thank you for the clarification!
Hi Thurs72,
Attachment of files isn't supported in the Marketing application. I tried to embed it using HTML but couldn't get it to work that way either. One possible workaround is to create images of the PDF file and you can embed those in the email if the PDF content was of a reasonable size to do so. I suggest that you add this to the Ideas Marketing Forum as a feature request. Our PM team regularly reviews and I would suspect that this would receive a lot of up voting.
Thanks,
Megan
