Dynamics AX 2012 Windows Server Evaluation License expired

Hello,

I am running a AX 2012 VM. My windows server 2012 R2 (Datacenter evaluation) has got expired all of sudden. I tried to rearm it but no luck,, it gives me this error

0xC004FE00 on a computer running Microsoft windows non-core edition run ‘slui.exe 0x2a0XC0040FE00 to display the error text.

I did rearm it a while ago with no problem. Any advice would be appreciated!

Hi Amir,

The software provided on the VMs can be extended using the rearm, but this is not something that can be done endless. It remains evaluation versions of the software. You can provide an own license. If this machine is not usable anymore, to provide real license keys, you can actually create a new one. The vhd file can be accessed like a zip file to copy important data.
