How to get attribute wise item counting? Suppose we have X item and that also have used the variant and defined the attribute. Incase of attribute how to get stock count based on attribute. Below is the scenario.

Item No. A100
Item Name : Table
Variant :  Wood, Metal, Plastic or Red, Green, Yellow, Blue
Attributes : Either define Type : Option (wood, Metal, Plastic etc. ) or Define Type: option ( Red, Green, Yellow, Blue etc. )
Stock is getting increased either by Purchase receipt, Item Journal, Production or configuration package. How stock details counting can be getting based on attribute?

Your suggestion will be appreciated.

Thanks,
PR

I don't believe that's possible out of the box as attributes don't really work like that. You would either have to create a custom report that does that for you, either in the system or using third party tools such as Power BI or Jet Reports, or you could consider using dimensions instead of attributes. But using dimensions you would have to include a dimension value every inventory transactions.

Hi, I agree with Valentin, the purpose of Attribute in BC is an Item, there is only one set of Attributes, so there is no different inventory for different Attributes.
Unless you customize it, but this is also a bit complicated. Users need to enter attributes when shipping out and shipping in, and the data after posting also needs to be added.

Hope this can give you some hints.
    Thanks.
