Job Queue in Error State - Locking Issue

Hello Experts!!

We can't save your changes right now, because a record in table 'G/L Entry' is being updated in a transaction done by another session. You'll have to wait until the other transaction has completed, which may take a while. Please try again later.

I am using Post Inventory to G/L report for my Job Queues. What could be the reason of the job queue going in error state for the mentioned error.

I am using Auto-Cost Adjustment always ON under inventory setup.

Hi,

There could be a multitude of reasons for this as any user could be running a process that causes this. If you search for database locks as below

this can show you who is causing the lock.

At least this will give you more information on what is causing the issue.

If that doesn't work then you may need to look into the telemetry which again can provide more information.
