We are designing a simplified process with Advanced Warehouse, where we don't want to use mobile device for pick/pack. The process, which we are aiming for is:
- Create a salesorder
- Do manual reservation against a selected batchnumber on stock
- Create a load / add salesorder to load (manually)
- Create shipment, where we can print shipment documents, e.g. PickList
- Send Picklist to external warehouse (service provider, who manages stock for us - this warehouse is a blackbox for us --> we do not care for the picking process)
- Receive notification from external warehouse, that goods were picked/packed
- Register pickinglist / Post packingslip
The point is, that we want to use Advance warehouse only, because the shipment-object will allow us to print all required documents, which are only available in WMS.
Currently we have a working configuration, but the process here is:
- Create a salesorder

- Release to warehouse --> with autocompletion of generated work
- Create a load / add salesorder to load (manually)
- Manage shipment, where we can print shipment documents, e.g. PickList
- Send Picklist to external warehouse (service provider, who manages stock for us - this warehouse is a blackbox for us --> we do not care for the picking process)
- Receive notification from external warehouse, that goods were picked/packed
The problem here is, that the picking is too early in the process (step 3) --> we want to register pickinglist only at the end of the process and we do not use mobile devices.
Any idea, how to configure such scenario?
