Hello,

I would like to enable logging of the tables for new users, workers, positions, roles and their relations/assignments in AX. We would like the created by, created date time, modified by, and modified date time fields turned on and all changes to be logged.

I set this up see attached but still cannot get anything to show for worker or position etc....is there something I am missing or is there a special way to test???

Are you looking into 'dat' company? Workers are not saved per company, therefore 'dat' is where you should find the data.

It might be logging those tables into the DAT company because they are company-less tables.  Switch to DAT and see if the Database log history is available there.

Hi yes I am looking in Dat company and do not see anything logged under worker or position...is there something else I need to select when I do the database setup other then worker or position should I be selecting other fields as well?

There is some history for user information and security role but not worker or position

Please tell us how you configured logging (let's say for workers) and how you test it. We can't tell you whether you should select other fields unless you tell us which fields you've already selected and which fields you actually need.

If you believe that your setup is correct, try to restart AOS to rule out any possible issue with cache.

I am trying to attach a screenshot but cannot for some odd reason....

but I went to database setup selected worker assignment security role and user information clicked next and for each one selected update rename insert and delete....

when I set this up should I be adding in anything else as far as table names I just  have the 4 selected....

I meant worker, position, security role and user information....

Let's not talk about how many tables you need and let's get it working for a single table first. I suggest workers, all right?

So you set up Workers to log everything. Now what action did you test? For example, create a new worker and check the log.

Have you already tried the AOS restart?

yes restarted AOS- only thing that displays is security role and user information.....I tried to create a new worker add assignments edit etc....and nothing gets logged.....

Do I need to add the other fields other then worker...for example worker profile worker skills etc everything associated with worker?
