We are new users of F&O, coming from a 3rd party collection tool. We can e-mail out letters/dunning notices, but in our old system when a customer replied to an email we capture that correspondence in the collection tool. We are not seeing a way to do that in D365. How do we capture the customer correspondence all in one place, so all collectors can have access to it.... and preferably without attaching a file of every email out of their personal mailbox?
Also, curious to how other folks are formatting their letters. In our legacy system we had a nice table embedded in our letters showing all of the activity on the account, invoices, credits, payments, etc. Is anyone doing this in Dynamics, what tools did you use to accomplish it?
Thanks
Hi JETIV,
As my understanding, this process can be different for each company or each country.
As example, we usually send collection letter to the customers electronically by PEPPOL BIS Billing 3.0 via our access point. Once the customer have agreed to pay the invoice(s) on a specific date, we update each collection cases. This follow-up process can be done by other creditor companies that can have integration to D365FO.
