Credit Card Fee/Surcharge - Non Retail

Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone has setup a credit card fee or surcharge for a non retail setup. I have found the process to do this through the retail function but our business isn't set up this way.

Is there any way of setting up through an item code? I.E Item Code: VISAFEE which adds 1.5% to total invoice value?

I do not understand what you want to do with an item code?

Do you want to add an additional line in your sales order and charge the customer for this?

Would be great if you could clarify.

Hi Ludwig,

If the item code is an option to add a credit card fee/surcharge then we would go down this field, I don't think this is an option but thought i would put it to the brains trust :)

Yes. this can be done with CenPOS MS Dynamics financial module in compliance with surcharge rules which include surcharge as separate line item submitted to the acquirer and on the receipt, among other items which are outlined here 3dmerchant.com/.../credit-card-surcharge-laws

Consider how it should reflect in your printout receipt/invoice and tax reporting

Misc charge would seem to be an option.
