Hi All,

I created a fixed asset journal. In he process of depreciation proposal, I select the to date field as 30.09.2016. Fixed assets that are bought after date of 01.07.2016 ,not come the fixed asset journal  lines. I checked the value model for each fixed assets. Depreciation field is selected as YES for all fixed assets. What can be the problem? Thanks for your answers..

    Hi Nuray,

Have you checked the status of the assets? If it is 'Not yet acquired' then the assets needs to get an acquisition posting first. Also check the Depreciation start date setting on the Value models.

    Hi Andre ,

Thanks for your reply. The status is open and depreciation start date is 06.10.2016. I think there is no problem on status and starting date.

    Hi Nuray,

You wrote that the depreciation start date is in October and you want to run a depreciation   inquiry till end of September. The system will not create depreciation postings for the assets that have a later start date then 30.09.

If you wan5 ro include these assets please change the depreciation start date. Be sure to discuss it with the finance guys first. :)

    Hi Emilia,

Sorryy . I wrote wrong . Depreciation start date is 06.08.2016.  Not 10 :-) . I am really sorry. Do you have any idea about this problem.

    Hi Nuray,

    No problem :).

Is the value for acquisition price filled out on the value models? Make sure that service life is filled as well.

Or be sure to check the filtering criteria for the depreciation run, specially the records to include area.

Also make sure that you are using the right value modles in your filtering.

    Hi Nuray Yilmaz,

Can you check the depreciation convention that was setup at the value model level?

In addition, can you check what depreciation amounts and periods you see when you open inquiry-profile at the value model level?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

Can you possibly share screenshots of the value model of this asset and the related setup?

    Hi Nuray,

Your question might be answered. Can you provide what part of the answer from Emilia was answering your question? Was it the query range?
