Hello folks,

I'm trying to have a trial environment in which I can practice on it some development. I have done the following:

I have signed up for an Azure account and then I have linked it to the LCS project
I have signed up for Azure DevOps and then I have linked it also with the LCS project. Finally I had created a cloud-hosted environment through LCS, using my azure credit. everything works fine so far, but as you see my shared asset library is blank, even the asset library not having most of the other asset types such as software deployable package.

as you see my organization is represented as a customer organization, I got this after I applied for trial. through trial.dynamics.com

    Hi K-Bassam,

If you have deployed an environment via trials.dynamics.com, then you don't have a LCS project related to that. You have now created an LCS project without having permissions for Dynamics 365 F&O projects. You can sign up for a full functioning preview on your own tenant using the next link: docs.microsoft.com/.../sign-up-preview-subscription

The free trial in trials.dynamics.com doesn't give you any functional access to LCS, or access to downloadable VMs or Cloud hosted environments. You only get one limiter trial D365FO system.

All these LCS based things are only available when you are using LCS with such user account that is associated with an O365 tenant that has either real D365 licenses, or Customer/Partner trial licenses.

Thank you, Amith for your replies, unfortunately still the same. I guess they don't provide the whole functionalities for a customer trial.

I have similar setup (but Partner Trial), just try to clear Browser Cookies and if still facing the same issue, try to login using a different browser ( if you using chrome just switch to Edge or Vice Versa).

As you see the screenshot I had shared, the first one it shows the asset library which is related to my project, and the second screenshot it shows  the shared asset library which is blank, that's my issue, why it's blank

    Hi ,

Just check in which Asset Library you are in , there is two type of Asset libraries one is Shared Asset Library which you can access via Hamberger Menu on top and other one is just Asset Library which is inside your Project. the one in the project normally blank  but you can import items from Shared Asset Library as you need.

Refer : https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/fin-ops-core/dev-itpro/lifecycle-services/asset-library for more clarity.

    Thanks ,

    Amith Prasanna
