Cannot configure RSAT certificate to allow access to the environment

Good day,

We are in the process of configuring RSAT for in-house regression testing purposes. The environment we are using is a onebox (managed on prem) and is accessed through RDP. As I understand, certificates will then not be generated/managed through LCS.

- The certificate/thumbprint was generated through RSAT
- The certificates have been installed Personal and Trusted Root Certification Authorities
- The wif.config file has been updated to trust the certificate, and the correct thumbprint has been added
- The hostname and soap hostname are correct, and this has been verified

When testing the connection with the environment using RSAT, the same error is persisting: /Failed to connect with the Hostname because the certificate does not allow access to the environment. Please make sure to select a thumbprint for a certificate that matches the Hostname environment, or if needed issue and install new certificates for the Hostname environment. Then try again after that./

What are we missing? Anything else that we can try?

Thank you.
