IN General Journal i want to add field B Account Name. In which table i need to add. Secondly on Form when user enters Bal. Account No I want this field to be updated with Account Name

Well Even I have been facing this issue from very long time, Even I connect my Official account of https://www.edugeeksclub.com/essay/ to Microsoft but It shows me that I need to update my Account name field with respect to our previous Bal. Account. So When I added the old details it disable my link to an official Account. I am very confused. Kindly give me some suggestions.

On the OnValidate trigger of Account No write: CALCFIELDS(“Account Name”);

where Account Name is the name of your flowfield.

Hi

I have created Calc Field , but the problem is i have to click that field and press tab then it shows the Account name . I want when Bal Account No field changes Account Name field should get Updated.

General Journal Line, add Account Name field as Text(50). Then set its property as Flowfield and set CalcFormula as Lookup on table G/L Account field Name where Gen. Journal Line (field that contains the G/L account) = G/L Account field No.

Sorry but I don’t have a pc for a screenshot, but it’s very simple.
