Product costing at warehouse and batch level

Hi,

In AX 7, is it possible to maintain the product costing at warehouse and batch level? I set up a storage dimension group and tracking dimension group with site/warehouse, batch enabled. However, there is no check box for cost to be enabled (only purchase price and sales price).

It should work the same as at Ax 2012 but there re some terminology changes

In DMO365 the cost object and inventory objects are introduced.

A cost object is often a subset of the inventory object, e.g. when you track warehouse and license plate physical but not financially. Inventory object is new as a concept. In earlier AX versions it was known as Inventory dimensions.

Here is an example:

Item 100. Track: Site, Warehouse and Batch financially and physically.

Location and Inventory status are only tracked physically.
