Undo or delete a warehouse shipment that has been made from Transfer Order

Posted on by 150

Hi all I got a case below which I have been trying really hard to solve it but I couldnt... here is the case..

I am dealing with 2 locations; Location A implements level 4 warehouse complexity level and Location B implements level 1 warehouse complexity level. We wanted to do a transfer from Location B to Location A which in my understanding, steps to complete a transfer from level 1 complexity to level 4 complexity, would only be using these particular steps: Post Transfer Order (After inputed in the row Qty to Ship) --> Ship --> OK. Afterwards when the location A (Level 4 complexity) wanted to receive, we will be using Create Whse Receipt --> Post Receipt --> OK --> then we put to the allocated bin location. But the problem is, one of my colleague did a mistake by using these steps to do the transfer shipment from location B (Level 1 complexity) to location A (Level 4 complexity)
in Transfer Order: Release --> Create Whse Shipment. In this case, my colleague did the steps which should be done by the level 4 complexity warehouse in the level 1 complexity warehouse. As a result, the Transfer order document will still automatically generate a new Whse Shipment document BUT when we are trying to open the warehouse shipment document, it said that "The record that you tried to open is not available. This page will close or show the next record." It leaves the document hanging and It is really halting us to do the next step of the transfer order.. Your help would be greatly needed!

Thanks..
