Ether I'm missing out or AX is missing a standard feature.

I need to put a location destination on the Incoterms (Terms of delivery).

Is there any place to do this in AX or is everyone doing an amendment to fix this?

One of the options is "Port" field under foreign trade fast tab.

Hello, this is an old post but I'm having a similar question.

We're getting started on D365 and business is asking for a customization, to add "delivery term location" on the customer, which the sales order will inherit (and same on vendor / purchase order side).

A suggestion from this pas was for FAS / FOB / CFR / CIF to use the field "port".  May be correct!  But for FCA also it could be a named place which is not a port.

Plus, sales department wants to use that field to indicate the pick up place for EXW.

Regarding other incoterms, it's a bit unclear for me if a "named place" is needed or if the delivery address is always sufficient.

I was happy to find a "Destination code" on the customer card, in the delivery section, but it doesn't show on the sales order...

Do you also have a need to display the "named place" linked to the incoterm on the sales order?  If yes, did you do a custo?  If not, what's your process regarding incoterms named places?

I found this in ideas but it seems it didn't get picked up by Microsoft: experience.dynamics.com/.../

Thanks for any kind of feedback!

    Hello Alexandra,

I'm facing a similar situation as you described above, I was wondering if you would like to update this post with what you ended up doing to solve the issue in your ERP site?

I've started a new post at (community.dynamics.com/.../named-place-for-delivery-terms-also-known-as-incoterms-or-international-commercial-terms) to try and revive the topic as well.
