Cross entity shared data/workspace

Hi,

My customer has asked the following questions. I have googled, but could not find any information.

- Is it possible in D365 to share customer/customer data? So if I in example update an information on the customer master data, will the same information be updated for all entities. 

- Will the information credit limit for a customer be available for the same customer on other legal entities?

- If a company is managing multiple legal entities, is it possible to have a ONE Workspace (any module in D365) for all the legal entities?

    Hi Suzan,

    There are various options to sync data between legal entities. There is a feature to share customers out of the box: Cross-company data sharing - Finance & Operations | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Docs.

    Other options would be using the Data management features or Power Automate.

    Depending on the implementation, the credit limit can be the same or different per legal entity.

    Can you explain what you mean with "ONE Workspace"? If you need an overview of open customer transactions across legal entities, you can already achieve this by creating customer aging snapshots without the need to use cross company data sharing.
