How to reset free check no on payment journal

Dear All,

I used the free check no method. I want system suggest the check no from last check no entered in the payment journal, but system suggest the check no from sequence entered the first time against bank.

How I can achieve this.

Hi @Afazal,

in your case, the system will search in the checks interface for the bigest Check Number, then add 1.

to resolve this issue you need to add your number manually and from now on take the new number + 1

Hi,

If the new series number is smaller than the existing one, like 1203111101 then system doesn't suggest check number from this new smaller series.

so what I can do for this.

Hi @Afazal,

the check number is an incremental number, each time it increments by 1.

example: if the last number is 100, then the next time it will be 101.

Please note: this is not a sequence number.
