Displaying the Account Picture in a Datapoint

Dear Community,

I am trying to explore the option, to display the picture uploaded to an Account or Contact, in a dashboard.

This means, similar to the Account Type, Name etc, that you can access in the database when you create views and select, I would like to find the data-point of the "uploaded image" and make it visible.

Is this something anyone have tried before, or have any knowledge of, if it can be done?

In my dashboard, I would really love to see the pictures appear where the blue arrows are poiting.

I hope the question makes sense :)

    Hi,

    Thank you for your query.

    Account image is stored in Default Image field (entityimage) which is not available in views or dashboards.

    As an alternate you can create an SSRS report, which too is bit of hack:

    Thanks Wahaj,

    I find the SSRS report might become a bit "disconnected" and "home-made". I understand that it is not a thing, but I highly suggest Microsoft to enable this, as it will bring value to anyone working with customers and marketviews.

    Hi Johan,

    I found a way to show Account images in a view (in supported way).

    Basically this approach is based on following, but instead of showing an icon we display entity image in the views:

    Please note, Dynamics 365 expects 32x32 size images in the views, hence the Account images are resized in the view:
