    Hi Arpan

Go through the blog link above.

The application code is saved in file system in a directory and is called PackageDirectory. The location of directory (along with other settings) is saved in a web.config file.

    Hi Arpan

No. The application code is stored in the File System as described above.

However, the Database name is AxDB

    RE: Application and Database backup

    Hi Arpen

With AX 7( aka Dynamics 365 for Operations ) we have only 1 Database with the Data (Transactions, Master data etc.)

About the DEV Envs, you are able to Backup & Restore yourself  through Sql Server Management Studio

About the Prod Env, you have to raise a Ticket to Microsoft.

About the Code, this one is store in the File System and mostly are XML Files. So you can backup entire Directory or I guess is enough to take the backup of TFS Database.
