Confirm purchase orders - timing issue

We're running into an issue where the batch job for the confirmation of a single PO is taking much longer than expected. A PO of 100 lines will take up to an hour before the batch job finishes. Are there AX parameters that could speed this process up, or would this be resource constraints on our end?

Hi cicconej582,

There are no parameters to control duration for PO confirmation. Can you try just clicking 'confirm' instead of using confirmation button and see if it's same duration. Also try to remove print confirmation to see if posting is actual issue or the printing. This is to help isolate the problem. If nothing helps, suggest that you try to leverage DEV and see what is the detailed issue (is it h/w constraint or something else). Sometimes custom code get written in such a way that code gets execute for every line, more the line, slower it is.
