martin , i go to the table DMFEntity -- method -- defaultEntityForOrgAdministration and find the entity name from there for Unitof Measurement.
then serached in target entity form, it's not there, then i have added entity = units
yes, i understand but my question is why it's not there in Target entities form.
how i will add this one?
Please open the official documentation page I gave in my last reply and look at the table there. I explicitly told you that DMFUnitOfMeasureEntityClass is a class. If you want other details, look at other columns in the table in the documentation.
martin,
dixf -- target entities --
i searched with the name "DMFUnitOfMeasureEntityClass". it's not there.
in AOT-- Class is there.
how i will get it in to target entities form?
please help me
Oh, sorry, I didn't notice that this is about AX 2012. (Nevertheless I said nothing about DMF*.)
You could use cross-references in AX 2012, but it's even easier in this case. Search for "measure" in Data Import/Export Framework (DIXF) entities and you'll find that the class is DMFUnitOfMeasureEntityClass.
i searched for Unitof Measurement table but not getting any name with DMF*
i am using ax 2012 r3
Find the table you're interested in in Application Explorer, right-click the name and choose "Find references". This will show all references in Find Symbol Result window. Scroll down to names beginning with "/DataEntityViews/" and pick the data entity most suitable to your needs (whatever they are).
