Is there a way to prevent MRP to propose planned production orders or planned purchase orders?
I checked the "stopped" flag in the default order setting for a product and it works when I create orders or firm planned orders.
But I really don't want to see planned orders.

If so, why you still use MRP? which kind of order do you expect ?

thanks for the answer. I thought about it and realized that there are coverage group definitions that exclude the MRP. So that is the answer.

I agree that you should create a coverage group where the coverage code is manual and assign it to the items for which you don't want MRP to create planned orders.
