Is it feasible to change only tile color without changing complete form color?

Hi Techies,

We are researching on how we can change a tile color based on specific record count to get more user readability(Example-Data management workspace). If we select a color theme from 'User options', it will change complete form color theme to selected one. Whereas, we are looking to change only tile colors based on record count or threshold count setup somewhere in AX. It seems it is using style sheet that completely controls the form pattern behind the scene, but need to check if it is feasible to do this via code or some other ways.

Can anyone share thoughts on this if came across this kind of requirement?

Any response is appreciated.

Regards,

Sangram

    Hi Sangram Shinde,

    You could try the solution by Maha Tanveer:

    community.dynamics.com/.../color-a-cell-of-table-control-in-ax-7

    Just set the properties to your control:

    Element.colorScheme(FormColorScheme::RGB);

    Element.backgroundColor(WinAPI::RGB2int(255,205,65));

    Which version are you using? You asked in the AX forum, but I suspect the question might be about D365FO.

    It's important to know, because D365FO uses a completely different client than previous versions.

    Hi Sangram,

    I dont think this is possible in D365FO but you can perhaps update the Text of the tile depending on your conditions.

    Thank you everyone for suggestions.

    We found an alternative solution to this, we are loading the background image on tile by which it can show the color we want, eventually we need and indicator on tile at particular count, so we parked here as of now.

    Images added using resources and we can use ImageLocation and NormalImage property to handle the images.

    Thanks.
