Report 10021 - Nav 2009

ReportReport

I want the report to sort by G/L no. regardless of the account name.  However, if there are G/L accounts with the same name, the sorting is wrong.

Example of how report currently sorts:

50110 Lodging

73110 Lodging

83110 Lodging

50120 Per Diem

50130 ABC

50140 XYZ

If I change the name "Lodging" to be unique (Lodging-1, Lodging-2, Lodging-3), then the report sorts fine by G/L no.

The report runs fine in Classic, but not RTC.  Any ideas?

What key are you using when you run the report?

    "Search Name"?

    Change it to "No."

    Hi

In report 10021 - Trial Balance Detail/Summary, There is no key defined in Standard report. You can modify the report by adding the key on DataItem - G/L Account.

Please do change in DataItemTableView with Key as a "No." so your report will be get shorted automatically everytime based on the account no.

    Hi Robin

As you said if the report runs fine in the Classic, then you need to check the sorting in the layout of the report & have to change the sorting order to "G/ L Account no."
