Get entity type from record guid in crm 365 in power automate flow

Hi All,

I need to get entity type for example regarding object type for lead entity in power automate flow.

I am triggering on create of lead & retrieving leadid But unable to get the entity type.

How can we get the entity type from a resord guid or is there any way can get the regardingobjectid

for ex : “_regardingobjectid_value@Microsoft.Dynamics.CRM.lookuplogicalname”: “account”

Any idea anyone?

For each lookup type filed, there would be "Table Name" and "Type" and "Value", let me take "Phone Call" regarding field for an example:

you can get table name by using "Regarding (Type)".

Another example filed "Owner":

Hi Ray,

Thanks for ur response.The above one which you have shared if we have a lookup field then from that we can get the type of that lookup & value as well. But here from my triggering point suppose on lead creation or update i need the entity type of lead like how we get the lead record id, but seems its not possible to get the entity type from the triggering point.

Quick workaround Use one more step 'Get record by id'. It will give entity type

Sorry that I did not understand your point. You have set up the trigger on Lead entity, the entity type would always be "lead", what is the point to get entity type?
