Hi I created batchjobs for Due Date Alert and Change based alerts in our system. (for each related company)
then I added an alert on the sales order confirmed shipped date field.
I tried it with organisatiin wide setting and without.
But there is no alert send to me. Neither as email nor in the notifications
I do assume you were intending to mention the EventCUD table? The first status is 'Withhold' which should be correct. In case it is not processing, does the record also have a GUID value in the BatchID field? What exact version of Dynamics 365 F&O are you running?
It's not related to the batch jobs status...this is wating and executing every minute generating records in the the EventCUD Table
on this table there is a status showing withold and this is the one which stops sending notifications IT IS NOT THE BATCH STATUS of Due Date Alert or Change based alert batchjob
@André Arnaud de Calavon Yes batch jobs are running and when I have a look in the table browser (with an installed browser extension) I can see there are records created in the EventJobCUD Table related to the alert but no notification created.
Have you checked if the batch jobs are actually running (change to executing and back to waiting) and if they have tasks assigned for the alert actions?
Ok externally is no option then because we are on premise and are not able to use powerplattform. Email should be configured but I will try to set it up without email to check if it works with this
For a simple notification of this alert you don't need "send email" and send "externally".
EMail will only work, when E-Mail is configured and externally will only work with connected PowerPlatform.
