Hi ,
I have a plugin which gets triggered on updated of opportunity record. My question here is , if I update the opportunity through an external API (through code), then does the plugin gets triggered ? If no, how to trigger the plugin ? Thanks !!

Yes, the plugin will be triggered by any supported update (i.e. through the UI, through code or via a workflow)
