Export consolidation - export dimensions and their dimension values in XML

Hi,

I'm having difficulties when exporting dimensions and dimension values using Export Consolidation feature.

In Development Environment I found the XMLPort that is responsible for consolidation export and I added new xml elements (marked with red):

The problems are two:
1) All dimension are copied, not only the selected ones as shown in the first picture - this might not be important for my task right now but if that can be fixed easily - I would appreciate your help :)

2) All dimension values are copied for each dimension - not only the dimension values that are specific for each dimension (each dimension has all dimension values)

To make myself clearer, I'm also attaching the exported XML file.

    Could you debug whether the filter is getting correctly applied to the customer structure?

    Hi,

    Please check out the first picture where selected dimensions are shown. After that in the attached XML file I have added custom structure to include dimension values for each respective dimension but for each dimension all dimension values from the database are exported.

    Hi,

    What's meant by selected ones?  how you have selected the Dimenisons to be exported?

    What is meant by only specific for each Dimension?  All the Dimension Values are specific for their respective Dimension only.  There's no way to enter a Value to a Dimension without having a Dimension Code.
