Get source table being use in any given page

Is there a way to see which table or tables are being use in any given page? I'm adding some payments in my Payment Journal Page (256)... There is a Comment field, but I can't figure out where it go after I register the payment.

That field is not being used, anyhow if you want to know where that field is being used there is a tool called Prism which you can download from the below link and it has very useful features to know where an object, field or procedure is being used.

Thank you for the recommendation Suresh, one thing though, what do you mean the field is not being used? I, as an user, do type in my comment for the payment. The problem is that I can't find it anywhere in my DB. I have try everything but no luck yet :(

Hi,

As mentioned by Suresh, even though you have entered the Comment in the Payment Journal, system ignores this Comment while posting into the respective ledgers.

The system does not use that field, i believe it was just for reference/comments before you post after posting that value is not transferred anywhere in the system.

If you want to know which table is used and their fields... the easiest way is go to "Help --> "About this page" (is the equivalent to zoom tool in classic client). Anyway, as mentioned Suresh this field is not used.
