Unable to select sales tax payable/receivable

Hello,

When trying to set up a ledger posting group I am not able to select accounts in the sales tax payable or receiveable. Anyone who can kindly help me out? (values for ledger group posting and description are just an example)

Solved:
I had forgot to activate the account structures - they were only drafts! Thanks to everyone who helped

Hi,

Do you have your tax codes, tax groups and item sales tax groups already setup?

Also, do you have sales tax accounts setup in your chart of accounts?

Is this maybe a security issue? Do you have access to both the view and maintain privileges on the ledger posting group form?

Hi,

Can you please verify if the field won't be available if the Apply sales tax taxation rules option is selected on the General ledger parameters page.

Hello Ludwig and thank you for your reply.

Yes, I have set up the sales tax groups, the item tax groups and the sales codes.

I also have a tax account setup in my chart of accounts, I believe.
FYI: I am very very new to Dynamics so I might have made a mistake somewhere.

Perhaps it is a security issue, because I think I have followed all the right steps as of now, but I am very new to Dynamics so not sure.

Also did u save and check this form?

On ales tax code do you see this ledger posting group in dropdown?

I am not sure how to share what access I have. I have saved the form, and when I go to sales tax code I do see this ledger posting group in the dropdown.
