In Dynamics AX 2012, is there a list of the system features which are available for each user profile (Enterprise, Functional, Task and Self Service ) ? the reason I'm asking becouse I don't know how to prepare a quotation for the client from the new price

    There is a pricing and licensing guide on this site: www.microsoft.com/.../erp-buy-ax-software.aspx.

    In addition there is a white paper that maps security roles to licensing: mbs.microsoft.com/.../msdax2012securityrolelicensing.htm.

    And a security role reference on TechNet that describes each security role: technet.microsoft.com/.../hh527122.aspx.

    I have created a class which outputs data in a CSV format for a particular role.

    The gist of is that you have to look at the duties and privileges associated to the roles. There is a View which maps the Profiles to the duties / privileges. From there you have to scan the AOT tree to find the properties.

    The view you need to work with SecurityRoleAllTaskView, SecurityRole

    From there fetch the Task associated to the role from the view. Find if the task is a duty or privilege by checking the AOT, and if its a duty, then go further into the node to fetch the privileges.

    Each privilege node would have the property if it is a Enterprise, Functional task or self service type.
