AIF data policies legal value and Queue Manager

Hi,

In data policies for an outbound port we have added a legal value for a field. As expected, we get an error message in the Queue Manager if the value of this field in the table doesn't match this legal value.


However, for this particular field only, we do not want any messages in the Queue Manager. It should just not process the document and no error message.

Any tips on how this can be accomplished?

    Thanks for the response.

    I had looked at this class but didn't see it could be customized to solve this issue. This class accepts the XML as a parameter so the document is most likely already in the Queue Manager (I have not verified this), I need to stop the processing sooner - perhaps in canXMLBeSent or sendElectronically methods, but tracking all these RecId's is a bit complex.

    You are wright, was thinking off  inbound not outbound..

    Worked with 2009, you only had to create AIF constraints to accomplish what you want.

    Made some modifications myself to do the same in 2012: added code to AifSendService method getEligibleEndpoints: only add outboundport to endpointlist if fields in _common meet your conditions. Hope this helps.

    I actuall ended up modifying this class, if I found illegal value for a specific field I log it in another table. That table can then be easily used to maintain the Queue Manager. Thanks again.
