How can I add an attachment (typ = link) to be visible like hyperlink, not just blank text?

With AX 2012 & 2012 R2, there is a URL document type. It is not available in 2009. I suspect some moderate coding may be required to create the functionality in AX 2009.
Another option for AX 2009, though it involves a couple extra steps, may be to create a Word document attachment, copy the URL to that file and select the 'show file' checkbox to display the URL in Word as a link that can be clicked on when the file is attachment is accessed next time.
Note - there are some assumptions made here and depending upon your environment this may not be a feasible option.
Hope that helps.

Thanks for the answer, but I'm talking about 2012 R2.
I figured out that you can open the link only when you hit the button "open". Thats fine. My customer can live with this solution.
