Unknown fixed asset status Completed

Hello experts

I have a problem with FA status.

There was an asset I changed its net book value to 0 manually on journal, not by depreciation.

So its net book value is currently 0 but not fully depreciated, and I changed status to "Completed" by mistake.

I intended to change it to "Closed", not "Completed", so tried to change its status to "Closed" again but I couldn't with error message "Unknown fixed asset status Completed".

Is there any way that I can change FA status from "completed" to others?

Actually this error message shows up every time I check its value model, and I tried its status.

Please help.

    Hi Tina,

    Out of the box, there is no asset status "Completed". Can you check if this is a customization or part of a partner module? If so, probably the coding for status change has not been reviewed to take the new option into consideration.

    This seems indeed a customized status.

    Can you talk to the person who implemented this customization? It seems that status changes have a kind of logic implemented and cannot simply be changed.

    I think you need to know the logic / rules that apply when using the 'completed' status that you have available.
