I want to customize the communication panel of dynamics 365 omnichannel .

I want to add custom button on communication panel or any div and onclick of button or div want to call java script function.

Hi,
Direct customization of the Omnichannel communication panel UI (like adding custom buttons or divs) is not officially supported by Microsoft.
Workaround Options:

Use Custom Actions via Smart Assist Cards
- Leverage Smart Assist with custom cards to show actionable buttons that trigger JavaScript via Power Automate or custom web resources.
Custom Side Panel via Session Templates
- Use Session templates to load custom forms or tabs where your JavaScript can execute.
Embed Canvas App
- Embed a canvas app in a tab of the session form, where custom buttons and logic are supported.

There is no supported way to inject JavaScript directly into the core communication panel DOM.
