Dynamics 365 App for Outlook preconditions

Hi again,

I should give advise for the global admin of the company to allow us to install Dynamics 365 App for Outlook. What should they do to make this possible for CRM-users?

    Do I understand right that I ask them (who host the Microsoft 365 / exchange part) to set up the server-side synchronization and then we can do rest in Dynamics 365 CE side and install D365 App for Outlook ourselves?

    And this works also with custom entity?

    Hi partner,

    Yes, as long as the D365 has been set up with the server-side synchronization, and the users can send and receive emails from their mailboxes successfully, then you only need to add Dynamics 365 App for Outlook to the users and assign them the 'Dynamics 365 App for Outlook User' security role.

    If you would Dynamics 365 App for Outlook works with custom entity, we need to add the custom entity into the app designer of Dynamics 365 App for Outlook.

    I need to continue and ask again, because seems that the organisations has blocked something, is there possibility to block to use Dynamics 365 App for Outlook? I should find solution to make it possible to use App for Outlook and we don't know what do we need to unblock...
