Hello,
I want to setup the Budget process for one of our customers. But during the setup process I have found the parameter "Allocation key" in the Budgeting parameters. Can someone explain to me what it is and give an example how to use it? I have found this parameter in the Budget register entries but I do not know how and when to use it.

Hi DNC,
You can use those allocation keys to spread out amounts over different periods.
Example: You budget 10000 and instead of entering the amount 12x for the budgeting cycle, you can setup the amount once and then make use of those keys to get the amounts distributed over time.

Hi,
firstly set up the period allocation categories in GL for budget and set the allocation percentage for each month and you can use the same period key on the Allocation Key of the Budget parameter.
