AX 2012 Retail database

Hi All,

I install AX 2012 Retail, which is a part of the feature pack with out any error. But I am not able to see HeadQuarter and Stores models in the application. The environment is client server where AX is in one server and DB is in another server.

I verified with database there is not specific table got created related to AX Retail.

I deployed Demo Data for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 SYS layer (dat file) in the SQL Server database, which I downloaded from partner source.

Is there any seperate dat file available for AX 2012 Retail which I can download from Partner Source and Restore ? Or am I missing any steps during installation.

Please advice.

Solved the problem.

Here are the steps which I perform to solve the issue :

1. Install AX 2012 Feature Pack in the Extension Medel of AX 2012.

2. Once installation done successfully compiled the application from front end.

3. Compiled AOT.

4. Syncronized database from AOT (selected Data folder in AOT and compiled).

5. Perfomed the complete installation Check list from AX 2012 Client.

Now I am able to see all the tables related to Retail in AOT and SQL Server. Also I can see Retail module in my Navigation Pane of AX 2012 and all related objects in AOT.
