Import Exchange rate issues

Hi All ,

Ax 2012 R2

As we all know that can import the exchange rates from prefined LithuanianBankProvider provider and CentralBankOfEuropeProvider provider that ship with
Microsoft Dynamics AX are good examples of this.

From the General Ledger area page, select the Import currency exchange rates menu item from the Periodic group.

When the Import currency exchange rates dialog box is displayed, select the Exchange rate type that you want to import into and placed the check mark in create necessay currency pairs ( override existing exchange rates not true ).

I selected date as today ( 05 /09/15 ) , system imported the exchage rates for 05/09/15 , working fine.

For testing purpose after 1 minute  , i re run the import currency exchange rates and selected the today's date , but system imported the exchange rates again for 06/09/15.

a) Why it has imported for next day .. when i selected for today's date ?

b) Second issue is that - i have deleted one exchange rate pair , then re run the exchange rate batch job , but system not created the pair for the deleted one .. why ?

Thanks in advance

    Hello Lally,

for a): Please check your systems session data and time under "file-Tools"

for b): Please check whether you activated the parameter "override existing exchange rates".

If nothing works, please check the following websites for additional Information on the setup:

    All the best,

    Thanks Ludwig for the reply,
a): Please check your systems session data and time under "file-Tools"
Session date and time is 05/09/2015 only and ran the import batch job 1 minute time difference .
b): Please check whether you activated the parameter "override existing exchange rates".
As i said that due to testing the functionality , i did not place the check mark . If i place the check mark run the batch job, then system will not create the additional line for same date.

The question is when we run the import batch job twice , why system created the same rates for two different dates like 05/09/2015  and 06/09/2015

One more thing is that i have deleted one exchange rate pair , then re run the exchange rate batch job , but system not created the pair for the deleted one .. why ?
