Can't make item billable

In Project Management Module, following is the transaction for a Project.
Line property changed from Non-billable to Billable, no stock found for the item.
In the first instance, Non-billable item was successfully changed to Billable.
Same item in the second instance, same item trying to change from Non-Billable to Billable, it shows error.
Inventory checked, shows negative stock.

    What is the error message?
     
    By the way, make sure that the title describes the topic of the thread. You idea of giving all threads about project management the same title (Project Management Module) isn't a good one; you should be more specific. That's why I've change the title of this thread.
