I've been pointed in the direction of using AL to develop extensions for Dynamics 365 Customer Service Enterprise but I can only find documentation for Business Central. Is it actually possible?
If not, is there an equivalent to AL for Dynamics 365 Customer Service Enterprise? I want to have more control over the development of the CRM other than using JS to execute very basic code.

I haven’t find any Microsoft document about AL extension for customer service.
Maybe you need open the ticket with Microsoft and ask for support.

You can extend it with plugins and custom workflow activities, the language for this is c#.
