Marketing Forms for Event Registration

Hi,

I'm trying out the new Marketing Forms for Event Registration included in the 2020 release wave 1 features. So far everything is working well except custom registration questions.

1) No problem creating custom registration questions.

2) No issues adding custom registration questions to marketing forms.

3) No issues for registrants to respond to custom registration questions in marketing forms.

4) But when I submit test data it's not appearing under the event registration responses subgrid.

5) I dove a bit deeper and found that responses to custom registration questions are also not available on the Marketing Form Submission record, values subgrid. There I can see the name, email... of the test registrant but it's not capturing the custom registration question or answer.

5) As a test I tried the custom registration questions via portal, I had no issues capturing the data in custom fields. They appeared in the event record under the registration responses subgrid.

Do you mean custom registration questions will be only saved via standard event registration form?

Thanks for your feedback.

I tested your issue in my environment.

It seems that the new feature: custom marketing form for event registration is not stable at present.

Please keep working on standard event registration form if you would like to collect response from custom registration questions

and waiting for the new feature be patched.

Hi, does anyone know if this was solved?

I have a lookup and an option set on my event registration form and the values are not synced to the lead. Also there are no form submissions stored for the event registration form. I tested it with a normal landing page form and there the values are mapped correctly.

It's been such a long time since my initial post. But we've been using the event registration forms since the start of 2021 without any of the issues in my initial post.
