ReportReport
Posted on by

Hi! I'm trying to develop a really simple report with NAV Development Enviroment from Dynamics NAV 2013.

When I click on Run button into the development enviroment I receive the message: You do not have the following permission on Report XXXXXXX: Execute

I'm logged as Administrator who has SUPER role for all companies in the database.

How could I resolve it and test reports?

Thank you very much

    Hey Tomas,

Check the License + Roles and Permission given to you if you are not having Super Permission.

    Hello Tomas,

First check your license in development environment, By Clicking Tools->License Information,[See the screenshot for better understanding.

And ,if you have doubt then Create a page with "Permission Range" Table and execute this Page you will get better result, and based on your permissions Sava As your Report and then execute.

Hi all, thanks for replies and sorry for the delay.

In license information I have nothing about "report range", so I've created the page Binesh suggested.

However I get a list where all lines are TableData ObjectType (see screenshot).

What is my report number range?

    Thanks very much

In your first message you had got an error " You do not have the following permission on Report XXXXXXX: Execute". XXXXXXXX is actually the ID number of the report. When you had created your report, you should have actually saved that with that certain ID number. I do not know your licenses details, but normally the range for additionally developed reports starts from 50000. Try saving your new report with e.g. 50005 ID number and  try to execute that.

Who is your partner,  ask them to send the permission Report detailed text version. It will list the objects you have access to.

    Hello Tomas,

Do one thing filter your page "Object Type = Report" After that see the ID, and check which ID you have execute permission [See the bellow screen shot for better understanding].

    Thank you again Binesh.

    I've got this

    8132.Captura.JPG

My report number is 60001. Not in any allowed range.

I will try with an allowed ID and Inform

UPDATE: ID renamed as 50114 and now I can run it without any problem.

With the page created I can see the ranges I can use. Thanks.

Good to hear! Yes, renumbering to 50000 range usually helps for typical license.
