Hi.

I’ve recently been tidying customer accounts in our systems on Nav 2009 by using the Hidden check button.

How can I retrieve/un-hide a specific customer account ?

    Hi Sneapy,

There is no direct way in the standard Dynamics NAV to Hide/Un-Hide customer records, i think you have to refer to your Partner as it is Customization made by your partner or the person responsible of this kind of development, so you can ask request to have a field called "Unhide" or "Retrive".

We have a checkbox on the customer card Hidden. Once checked the customers details disappear from the register.

I need to restore the customer to enable further trading. All of the customers sales history can be view in posted documents.

Thanks for your response. I assume if there’s an option to hide an account there must be a method to reverse the option somewhere in the system?

I have had our partner restore an account in the past but we are no longer supported by the said partener.

    Hi Sneapy1,

I am sorry to hear this news.

Is this field a button or a Check Box?

If this field is Check Box, try to un-mark it, so it will retrieve the record again.

If this field a button, try to click on it again to reverse the.

I am just guessing as i am trying to help, but you have to ask a developer to check it.

    Hello.

It is a check box. Unfortunately one checked the account is no longer visible in the register to allow me to uncheck.

It is hard to figure out how to Uncheck unless you contact a developer to give a hand.
