Guys,

I would like to find out about the email notification in AX system

We have a SMTP email server as 193.186.16.100

I tried to set my outgoing mail server as 193.186.16.100 (as below) i found that the email could not send out.

But if I set my outgoing mail server as 192.168.1.44 (DEV) i found that the email could sent out but i am getting email bounce back with message of No PTR record found.

Wonder if anyone can guide on how to troubleshoot or rectify this problem.

Hello Dexin,

Have you already worked through this MS docs site

docs.microsoft.com/.../configure-email-functionality-in-microsoft-dynamics-ax

Also, double check that there are no internal security / firewall /... settings that might prevent the sending of the emails.
