Ledger Report Problem

whenever i preview any ledger the complete description is not coming however when i make the print out it comes fine

any one help when my description is cutting in preview

Hi Waseem,

It looks like a design issue with the column where it is wrapping the text for a few columns (based on the content of another column as per my assumption). If you modify this report and increase the row or column size, the preview should show you the full text as well.

1. Go to AOT > visual studio projects > Dynamics AX model projects > LedgerTransStatementReport.

2. Right click and edit.

3. Open the Report design.

4. Go to the row which has the field "TransTxt" and increase the size (of the row) vertically.

5. Deploy the report.

Hi Waseem Altaf,

You will need the help of a developer to get this fixed.

Before doing that, I would like to ask whether you really need to print a ledger statement report?

What for?

We have a couple of other reporting tools (online trial balance, online MR reports, etc.) that are more powerful than a static and printed SSRS report.

Also, if you simply export the transactions to Excel you should be able to see the full description and can save the time and effort for making this development.
