Yes, it's possible to integrate AX with almost any kind of device.
Details depends on the device (especially what kind of API it offers) and what exactly you need from the integration.

The jmgjobregistration form expect something entered into the ID field. If you biometric software can simply return a string of characters as keyboard strokes on the given terminal that identifies the person it would work.
It can either identify by employee ID or a given "card ID".
It has to be either the one or the other, that is done under the general time and attendance parameter.
Card ID is set on the employee under employment and time and attendance.
