Inventory/sales on AX R2... when processing sales orders , I see on hand is available but system would not deduct the quantity for sale from on hand, what is the problem if on hand is available why can't the system deduct from oh hand? Is there something I am missing, please help?

    The quantity is reduced when you post the sales packing slip. That's when the goods are shipped out of your inventory.

    what I mean is that when executing sales order and you try to post, the quantity on hand remains the same. what is the problem?

    What meaning of processing sales order, No on hand will deduct when you creating sales order, it will reduce on hand when you post packing slip

    Pls elaborate your question
