hi;

Can I create Extensions for tables only and not Pages as well? for example, If I create extension for Sales header table do I have to create an extension for the Sales Order page as well?

It's better to do so (I never recommend to work mixed in a single implementation), but if you want to can also work by using C/AL and AL together (not recommended!).

To do so, you need to activate some settings in your environments and in the service tier like described here:
